Hard not to give it to Chris Paul right now. His team is the top seed in the West.

i completely agree, but i have a feeling they might drop a little just because the west is so good, but its kobe and paul, then some space then dwight kg and lbj. I also need to give a small shoutout to Bosh on my Raptors who has played excellent lately, but he has no shot cause everyone else is playing so well and there teams are doing much better

How the hell is LeBron a top 2 candidate when his team just recently went above .500? Unbelievable...Great player, but not an MVP player until his team is convincingly a top 3 team in the East.

    1 - Kobe Bryant
    2 - Chris Paul
    3 - Kevin Garnett
    4 - Dwight Howard
    5 - LeBron James

Dylan [IMG] Whatever happened to that chump.

If the award was given today (obviously things could change in the second half of the season):

    1. Chris Paul (like Shape said, you have to give it to CP3 leading his team to the #1 seed in the west)
    2. Kobe Bryant
    3. Kevin Garnett
    4. Lebron James
    5. Steve Nash

Chris Paul and Dwight Howard are doing the best job of making their teammates better.

Which is why I'm confused as hell as to why people are excluding Paul and Howard from their lists. I mean, am I watching the same league as everyone else?

Btw, I hate ESPN and TNT. IMO they should give an equal amount of TV time to all NBA teams (excluding the Knicks)
