Cavs are in the same situation as the lakers during kobe's 81 point season... Lebron doesnt play, cavs lose = Kobe doesnt play, lakers lose... and NO ONE considered him for MVP. Just goes to show the hate.

This is from a voters perspective:

Right now, Lebron seems to have the inside track. If they can stay within the top 3 seeds in the east, just by looking at the talent disparity combined with his excellent play this year, he has to get it. Garnett would be second for me, but I feel like the voters see the Big 3 as more of a collective effort than anything. Kobe was a distant third, but with Gasol, they have a chance to get a top seed, and you know how important that is to the voters. He could very well become the favorite. Paul is doing a good job, but he isn't familiar enough to the voters yet.

    So it goes like this:

    Lebron
    KG
    Kobe

    Paul

I don't see any other people worthy of mention.

    Right now...

The top 4 IMO, in whatever order, is Paul-Lebron-Dwight-Kobe. Then, after that, it's KG and then Nash.

It's gonna be a pretty tight race this year. Tighter than previous years, where it's been 1-3 players in the mix...while this year, it's at least 4.

It's a four-man race between Chris Paul, Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant. I think Dwight has and will fall out of the picture, and the order of the top 4 will change every other week.

Honestly, his name didn't even pop into my head when I made this. I would put him ahead of Caron Butler and take out Roy if I did it again.
