Personally I don't think he'll fit in with the Warriors and I'm stunned he's going to play for the coach he quit on the first time around in Golden State. However, the Warriors aren't risking anything bringing Webber on board and he could be the low post scorer the team needs to elevate themselves in the West. If Webber plays well there's going to be a lot of criticism directed at the Lakers for not figuring out a way to sign him. The Warriors have been making a push during our losing and could pass us up shortly in the standings. They have a very easy schedule while we head out on our 9 game road trip.
I'm pretty shocked myself. I don't see CWebb fitting in on a team that plays such an uptempo style. It's not because he's in bad shape or what not, but it's the knees. I don't know if they can take such a beating like they're going to because of all the running.
Are the warriors gonna slow the pace down when webber comes in? I dont even see why Webber wants to play there. Doesnt seem like a good fit at all, and i can see webber really struggling in GS.
Why would the Warriors slow down the pace that wins the game just to accommodate one player? Not going to happen. They're going to stick with their frantic pace and hope Webber can keep up. Honestly, the only reason I think he's there is because he's a great passer out of the post and can give them some type of post scoring presence also.
Well Webber is not going to be able to keep up. I guess hes just going to be lost on the bench for the whole season, and be a complete waste.
He's not the ideal running big but it will work out fine. He's only going to play a max of 20 minutes per game so his knees should be able to hold up for half a season. That's what I'm actually most concerned about. Is he going to become a cancer if he doesn't get the playing time he wants? As far as them slowing the tempo, I don't think they will do that at all. He will be the trailer on the fast break similar to how Troy Murphy played. Only with C-Web they will be 18 footers instead of 3s. I think that is why they brough him back, they don't really have anyone with a good midrange game (other than ellis) and like someone else mentioned, he's a very good passer.

Nellie and Mullin will ax him from the roster if he becomes a distraction. 20 minutes sounds about right for Webber once he gets comfortable with his new teammates.
