<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>If you’re looking for encouragement, here it is, from ESPN’s David Thorpe, in his weekly rookie rankings. Writing about how impressed he is with Sean Williams’ desire, Thorpe notes: “His athleticism and feel are great foundations for becoming a rebounding force, but without desire, he would be just another unproductive athlete.” Williams, who is averaging seven boards a game over the last seven, ranks #4 in Thorpe’s survey. Drew Packham of SI drops him a bit to #8 but doesn’t diss him.

Hm. This is pretty interesting, considering I recall having frequent arguments with noobs about Sean having the ability to be a good rebounder.

Good for him. He surely is a top 5 rookie in the league.

His offense has backed off a touch but his rebounding numbers lately have been almost 8 plus a game.

He's good, but he's no Joakim Noah.

    Yeah....okay, John.

Joakim Noah is the ugliest player in the league. Worse than Boonie.

JoshBoonefan should be buying Boone a razor to take care of his ridiculous attempt a beard...cut the braids go with a fade and he would look 10x better than he does now. I mean Josh is playing awesome right now but god damn dudes pretty ugly.

Josh Boone was voted the ugliest player on the Nets, and ugliest player in the NBA in two separate polls of NBA fans.

Wasn't that before Noah was drafted? I believe so.

Actually the poll that named him the Nets Ugly was pre-draft, but the NBA Ugly was post-draft!
