But its a very risky trade for the Mavs. Kidd is awesome, we all know that. But I don't think he would fit well with the Mavs. He will get abused in the playoffs by Parker, Nash and Iverson. His shot is alot better than the rest of the league gives him credit for, but overall his halfcourt game is nonexistant. I think the Mavs are better off with Terry and Harris in the back court. Add all of this to the fact that they would have to extend Kidd's contract.

I definitely would not do this if I were the Mavs. Hopefully, Cuban doesn't read these forums.

As for us I think its a pretty solid deal. I wouldn't even want Diop, but he has some trade value. The Suns are a team that can use him. I like Jack and Frye alot. And I like the idea of forcing Marcus to play big minutes for the rest of the season alot too. Outlaw is a pretty decent player, and it may lead to another trade. We will have too many SFs on the team if this trade goes down.

I would be willing to part with Nachbar at this point. It seems as if he played way over his head last year and is now back to reality.

If this trade happens, there are two more moves I would LOVE to see. Move VC for young prospects and a pick or two like the Kidd trade, and fire Frank and hire Mark Jackson. He wouldn't be a good coach for the team with the way it is now. But, a team full of young willing to grow players, I think he would be a very good choice.

    Please Thorn get it done.

There's a sensible reasoning on TrueHoop for why this trade won't happen
