Utah is really the only playoff team in the West in need of that big time scoring shooting gaurd. They will have a nice starting five with him there and we will get the relief from his stupid salary. New Jersey gets: Matt Harpring Morris Almond Jason Hart Jarron Collins Kyrylo Fesenko Utah gets: Vince Carter Malik Allen Throw in a pick or even Millsap since he is in his rookie contract but worse comes to worse, I believe this trade is always availible.
Why would Utah want Carter? They have Korver. Honestly, I can't see any team taking on Carter's contract unless if it is a swap of the same bad one.
How bout Vince and Jason Collins for Stephon Marbury and a first? Yeah I know Marbury is awful...and selfish and way overpaid...however he only has one year left on his contract and would basically be a one season rental until his contract came up and we'd get a decent first.
Carter may have degressed but there is a difference between him and Kyle and you'll see that come playoff time.

There have been rumors of Vince being wanted by the Knicks, and it would certainly give Isiah a 'name' player to put in the garden. Now while I'd hope to get players and picks for Vince Carter, the deamnd for him is low, and as you said, that's going to turn into a pretty decent first.

Marbury has been an utter distraction for New York this season and I think Zeke would give up his first to get his superstar and get rid of starbury.

New Orleans could use him. Although I don't think their owner would be willing to take on his salary.
