I am also surprised, Joe Johnson has about 16-17 PER this season (22 is all-star level) and is on a bad team. His efficiency per possession obviously isn't good enough.

Hedo, he seems to be a role player placed in the perfect spot to take advantage of the double teams that Dwight draws. Hedo's previous career high in ppg was 14.9 ppg. Hedo is going to be 31 soon, and will decline. Joe Johnson is 26, and his last 3 seasons have been 20+ ppg, at least 4 rpg, and 4 apg.
Hedo isn't even 30 yet...he's turning 29 this season actually. And I actually do think Hedo deserves to be an All Star. He's averaging career highs in points, assists and rebounds. He's also been an extremely clutch player for them. He definitely deserves to be an All Star.
Hedo's been the main playmaker for the Magic. Other than Dwight, he's been their go-to guy, and their main ballhandler. He gets Dwight a lot of his points, too. I mean, really, look at that team. Who would you expect to be their playmaker? Carlos? HA. Jameer? With taking that many shots, really. Keyon? Never. Hedo's the main guy that makes that team run. He deserves an all-star berth more than JJ, Rip (overrated), Ray Allen, Kidd, Wade...it's pathetic that these guys are chosen over him.
Oops, my math was wrong on his age. Sorry. But the guy has been benefiting so much from Dwight. He seems to be another Vladdy Radmonovic, or Peja.
C-Bosh F-Butler F-Pierce G-Rip (now seems to be JJ) G-Billups WC1-Calderon WC2-Jamison thats who i have right now, i want Hedo to make it, but i have to go with Jose right now, but i hope they both make it

The Pistons are always close to leading the league in the slowest pace per game, so that also hurts stats. Taking that into consideration, and winning, than Rip and Hedo are in the running for an all-star spot (certainly more than JJ and probably Ray Allen as well).

Any reason to argue with this now?</div> How many times have the Nets played Atlanta this season? I can recall two games really well, and in both I didn't see much from Johnson. He was struggling, and not even looking to get aggressive. I can't say anything about the other 30+ games.
