I agree with the West team but there is still a lot of guys that deserved to make it.

The biggest snub on the West team was Tyson Chandler. I would have put him over David West.

    East
    Hedo Turkoglu
    Ray Allen
    Jose Calderon

    West
    Marcus Camby
    Tyson Candler
    Baron Davis
    Steven Jackson
    Deron Williams
    Manu Gonobili

Overall the biggest is Baron imo

Get Richard Jefferson out of that snubbed team, no Net player even deserves a nomination.

BY FAR the biggest snub has to be Camby. He is just a beast defensively. Buuuuut i guess the west just has a lot of talent and its pretty hard to make an all-star team...even if you do average 14.9 rebounds and 3.9 blocks

    1. Camby. 9 ppg, 14 rpg, 3 apg, 4 bpg, on pace for another DPOY. Hes on a pretty good team too.

    1. a) Baron Davis. 22 ppg, 5 rpg, 8 apg, 2.5 spg. Hes leading a team that is 9 games over .500. Normally the Warriors miss out on the all-star game because "the team isn't good enough" or "the player has missed too many games". Now what? They just flat out left him off and put on guys who haven't played as well (statistically or otherwise) and don't play on teams as good as GS.

    2. Josh Howard. 21 ppg, 7.5 rpg, plays on a great team, has great intangibles and plays great defense.

    3. Tyson Chandler- 12 pts, 12 rebs. His stats aren't as flashy as West's but if you watch the games his impact is significantly more than Wests. West is to Paul as K-Mart was to Kidd. Tyson Chandler can not be replaces and he is the anchor in the middle for the Hornets. West puts up hollow stats and hes a replaceable part as long as Paul is there IMO.

    4. Hedo Turkoglu. 19 ppg, 6 rpg, 4 apg. Hes playing on a very good team and hes hitting games winners for them. Very deserving but at the same time I can understand why all the other guys made it in the east.

Others: Ginobili, Deron Williams, Tony Parker.

Davis. Usually, All-Stars are being picked from PO teams, and from 16 PO teams, only Warriors (.596) do not have an All-Star. Davis led Warriors with 22.3 pts / 8.1 ast / 4.8 reb / 2.5 stl. Davis should have been an All-Star over Roy or West. West over Camby is bit understandable, because Hornets have better record than Denver, and it wouldn't be fair that Hornets has just one all-star and Denver has 3 all-stars...

I'm surprised Hedo didn't make it.

Not surprised that Tyson didn't make it, I figured he wouldn't make it because of David West. They weren't going to put 3 guys from the Hornets on the team.

I'm with Chuck, it's an absolute travesty that Marcus Camby got snubbed yet again. I don't care if Denver has 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 All-Stars - Camby deserved it. He deserved it last year and he deserved it even more this year. It's not only wrong that he got snubbed again, it's a joke.

Part of me is unhappy that they didn't reward us with 3 All-Stars, but part of me isn't. On one hand, Paul Pierce said it - 2 years ago, Detroit got 4 All-Stars for having the best record in the NBA. Give us 3. But at the same time, part of me is happy that Ray didn't make it because I think extra rest would be a good thing for him.

Congrats to Brandon Roy and David West, and of course Chris Paul for making their first All-Star games.

Except Jason Kidd, but he's getting the credit he deserves.

If he's traded to a team out West before the ASG does he still make the All-Star team?

WOW, very interesting situation. I didn't even think of that, well I'm going to check the vote counts. Well Kidd had 1.24 mill votes and AI had 1.20 mill votes. So Kidd should start in the West.

    Turkoglu.

    Horrible snub.

The game doesn't need two goddamn Wizards. Pick one.

Chris Kaman is injured and on a losing team, but he deserves to be recognized as an All-Star.

I think he is having a better season than Amare and is a better all-around player than Chandler or Camby.

Baron Davis, Hedo Turkoglu. Is there really any more need of an explanation?

Here, Here. Hedo should be in over both Butler and Jamison, let alone just one of them.

The more I think about it, the more it chaps my ass.

They put in West because he's on a winning team (a philosphy I don't always agree with - even though I have no beef with West going), then screw over Hedo who couldn't be playing any better team basketball.

    What a crock. [IMG]

Kidd should fall on his sword and give Hedo the spot he deserves.

Some scrub role player who's averaging over 15 ppg for the first time in his career, while being in the league for ages, and playing with probably the best or at least 2nd best big man in the league.

Vs. the guy who almost averages a triple double. Kidd gets almost twice as many rpg and apg lol. So much for Orlando's "best playmaker". Kidd has 10 triple doubles this season, which is a very rare feat.

    Orlando 29 18 .617

    Washington 24 20 .545

    Number of Orlando All-Stars: ONE
    Number of Washington All-Stars: TWO

How is this fair at all? Are the coaches mentally challenged?

I mean, really. Hedo is better than Butler. Better than Jamison. Better than Johnson. Better than Rip. He does more for his team. He fuckin runs that team.

Detroit gets 2 all-stars. Boston gets 2 all-stars. You'd think the 3rd best team in the East would get 2 all-stars as well, right? Especially with 2 players on the team playing at an all-star level? NOPE. Instead, the 6th -- Yes, SIXTH best team in the East.

    This league is retarded
