WIzards trade: Gilbert Arenas, Etan Thomas, antonio daniels

Nets Trade: Jason Kidd, marucs williams, Josh Boone 1st rd pick

wizards do it becuase there offense needs some one to create for them not hold back their offensive talents like caron butler, nick young, antwan jamison. kidd becomes there leader and allows them to compete. marcus williams becomes his eventual replacement. boone gives them a quality back up big , and the 1st rder is the sweetner to make them buite on the deal. they also get rid of etan thomas's contract due to his hear t condition.

Nets do it because arenas is 26 yr old superstar that they can have as there centerpiece in NY. He makes a great tandem with rj sean williams and krstic for the future. nets then try and unload carter for expiring contracts and/ or young players.

kissmynenads, glad to see you around again.

I don't see Arenas and Carter working together, which is a big problem if Carter's contact can't be unloaded. But that in and of itself begins a problem: resigning Arenas after this year.

Um...I guess, in a way, this makes sense. Alot.

    I agree, solid trade idea.

The only bad thing about this trade is that we could potentially lose Arenas, with him opting out of his contract. And Daniels doesn't seem all too appealing. Maybe a youngin instead of Daniels..?

i think Arenas would resign for three reasons.. we'd definitely give him the max, him and rj are pretty tight. he loves attention , and to be the centerpriece of a new york franchise would give him all the attention he wants.

This is the kind of deal Ratner wants to make.

Rebuilding is much better, but if this is the reality it's not a bad deal.

I also feel like this deal might give Frank reasoning to change the starting lineup for something more geared for a half-court offense, and not just athletic ability. Boone, Collins? [IMG]
