When is Ric Bucher planning on taking his life for guaranteeing that Kobe won't be in a Laker jersey ever again and betting his life on it?

It made me laugh, my fav ones so far are:

Denny Crane's about something interesting about PJax
Shape on what book Kobe would give to PJax
Brian's on using the word "execute"
Mamba on Ric Bucher and his promise or bet, whatever it was regarding Kobe & the Lakers

Don't you mean twice the money?
    </div>

    Nope, half the money.

Ask him, because he likes Europe. [IMG]

    That Crittenton question, revised:

When Crittenton was a Laker, you seemed to really go out of your way to high five him when he was coming on and going off the court. Now in Memphis, how would you evaluate his talent and how did he perform in practice?

Wow I have to strongly agree, Mamba's hilarious.

    My comment for Kobe:

    "RIP Kwame." [IMG]

Does the Gasol trade put you over the top and make you championship contenders?
How would you evaluate the progression of Andrew Bynum?
Why does Kwame suck so freaking much?
Seriously, how can a former 1st overall pick with the physical skills that he has suck so freaking much?

Alright guys, I got all of my questions ready. A few of the ones you guys posted are in there, I'll have the answers tonight. I'm not sure how much time I'll have with him but I'll see what I can get in.

Have fun and if you're still here, make sure to ask him something about Shaq becoming a Sun.

    I'd like to add one:

Growing up, many players in the NBA were the top player in their H.S. conference, many were highly-sought-after recruits for college, and many were stars in college before turning pro. Yet, on this level, there appears to be a wide disparity in ability--or at least performance. In your view, what are the primary factors that contribute to success at this level among such great, well-conditioned athletes? Is there a significant difference in skill and ability? Or is it preparation, tenacity, and hard work? What part do you think genetics play in determining success (for example, as it contributes to muscle type, leaping ability, and strength). Finally, to tie this together: With your answer in mind, as one of the best players in the league, what would you attribute your success to, and what advice would you give young athletes to help them achieve success instead of ending up with a short career as a backup? How much of their ultimate success can they control?

Wow, so I get there and Kobe's people tell me that the Lakers scheduled a team meeting at the last second so he'd only be in the arena for about 30 minutes. So instead of getting one on one time with him, all of the members of the media would gather around and the questions were only allowed to be about his work in the community. It sucked major ass. I got two questions in but it was all about his charity shit. Anyways, I'm emailing the publicist again because she was really sorry. I'm gonna ask for an email or phone interview so I can ask the rest of the questions.

Typical for Kobe's people they are really unorganized and censor the crap out of questions they will allow him to answer. I've always wondered how much of that is relayed directly from Kobe or do they assume he wants it a certain way and take it to far?

Try and get permission to go to his house and do the interview there.
