    WTF!!!! NO ****ING WAY.

Crown the Lakers. Their title is almost as secure as NYG's (Edit- meaning they'll at least be in serious contention).

We finally get to put Odom as the third option, where he fits best.

Great trade, but Lamar is definitely on his way out after next season. We need to re-sign Bynum, remember?

    We'll be looking at:

    Fisher/Farmar
    Kobe/Sasha
    Ariza/Walton
    Gasol/Turiaf/Radmanovic
    Bynum/Mihm or another center

Sign me up! We sacrifice lots of depth, but good bench players are easier to attain than good starters.

Wow we look a little weak at small forward. I'm not sure if Ariza is ready and Walton is more inconsistent than LO of course.

What will the Lakers do Shape? Lol.

I'd rather have Ariza than Odom. With Odom, we have an extremely soft line-up defensively speaking. And Odom's offense is pretty redundant, we need lock-down defenders and slashers with those two bigs. Give me Ariza over Odom any day.

I definitely wouldn't go that far. Odom has shown that he can be quite more valuable than Ariza offensively, and perimeter defense isn't vital in this league.

Ariza can't shoot or pass, two things that are the most important for perimeter players in the triangle. Ariza has nice highlight dunks and everyone is on LO recently, but Odom is clearly more important and proven. Ariza'a still a project.

He will be available Sunday, right?
As much as I want Artest, it's more than likely not going to happen. The Lakers need the money for when Bynum's contract expires. Also, Artest would be demanding a lot of money as well, as his contract would end. I don't want to be in the financial situation that NY is in.
I still wouldn't mind trading Odom for an expiring contract and a young, potentially good role player.

    Bynum's injured right now man.

Obviously when he comes back healthy, Bynum will be third.

It's as if they didn't even try. Last year, Vince's contract was expiring. And they could've traded him along with Boone, Boki, Antoine or Marcus and draft picks, but it's as if they didn't even try.

This year, too. They have a bunch of expiring contracts to go along with 2 good young big men (1 of which could've been traded for Gasol)....but nothing happened.

I still can't believe it happened. I don't blame you and the other 29 teams from being pissed either.
