NO ****ING WAY.

    Crown the Lakers. Their title is almost as secure as NYG's (Edit- meaning they'll at least be in serious contention).

    We finally get to put Odom as the third option, where he fits best.</div>

    4th option behind Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum.
    </div>

    Bynum's injured right now man.

    Obviously when he comes back healthy, Bynum will be third.
    </div>
    Lol, yeah I know I just thought you had Odom higher than Bynum.

    i like how the only thing Stephen Smith says is they gave up kwame brown.

    anyways good trade should be interesting in the playoffs, i still don't see why grizzlies wanted Javaris when they have Lowry and Conly

    I thought the Lakers would finally get past the 1st round this year, now they are contenders. [IMG]

    Damn the west is so stacked/unbalanced. I wish they would just get rid of these conferences.

    I'm still in shock by this. This was a robbery by Mitch and he just ass raped Memphis's front office with this trade. I also wonder how Navarro is taking this. He went to Memphis to play with Pau, now he's gone. I would of loved if Pau could come play tonight against the Raptors, we could get a look at Gasol and Kobe together.</div>

    Oh yeah!

    Oh once I found out about the trade, I got the rest of my shift covered faking an illness!

    I am so ****ing stoked right now!!!!!

    I want Voodoo Child's opinion on this, as he stated the Lakers would never have a chance at acquiring Pau Gasol for their garbage.

    OMG!

    I'm going to really miss Crittenton because I believe he'll be a much better player than Jordan Farmar, but it's best for his career. I'll definitely be following him.

    All of a sudden that Caron trade doesn't look bad at all.

    **** YEAH ! Cupcake absolutely stole Gasol from the Grizzles ! We get a former All-Star for a Brick Wall and and Critt? What were the Grizzles thinking ?! They already have Lowry and Conly.

    Gasol is the perfect compliment to BYNUM!!!

    Why??? Because Pau is more of a high post PF and can shoot the ball and can pass it as well! Kind of a Rich man's Brad Miller!!! and you know how Brad Miller works with Webber as his front court mate!!!

    LOL!!! We got Pau who is way better than JO without even giving up Odom!!!

    Kobe - Odom - Pau - Bynum >>> Kobe - Caron (our what if) - Odom - Bynum

    I sure hope Memphis waives Javaris!!! LOL!!!

    I just got home and came here to check out the forums and almost cried, its been a long day, but this makes me happy! Grizzlies fans must be so steamed right now lol!! I can't believe they traded for Kwame LMAO, I hope Crit makes it though, good luck to him!!

    I just hope we can get Gasol's brother too in the future..

    I think we should get rid of Odom straight up for Artest now!

    And to think, Indy was asking for Odom AND Bynum for Jermaine O'Neal. The magic wand working it's magic.

    Damn, after a full day and a crappy shift at work, I come home, read these threads, and it just makes me feel as good as I did earlier when I found out about them.

    Right now, I want to personally thank Mitch Kupchak. I'm BEYOND happy he withheld trading for JO. Instead, he gets a superior player without giving up Odom or Bynum, when the Pacers were asking for both.

    You know, it's funny, how we all used to criticize Mitch and call him one of the worst GMs in the game. After this though, my god he looks like a genius. I wonder if he was thinking this might happen when he traded away Caron Butler a couple years ago, haha. Whatever, that trade now looks brilliant for us.
