Dear Mitch, I hope when these few words arrive that you are in the best of health. And based on the latest reports on ESPN I am guessing you are feeling pretty darn good right about now. In that vein... Let me be the first big Lakers fan to offer my sincerest apologies for every negative, critical thing I have said about you over the last four years. You managed to weather the storm despite the impatient panderings of a spoiled Laker fan base. And instead of giving us what we truly deserved - an irrelevant franchise for the next decade - you instead turn around and provide us with an up and coming young center... an in-his-prime all-star level power forward... a unselfish, versatile small forward... the veteran craftiness and toughness of a former Laker champion guard... and the greatest basketball player on the planet earth. Combine all of that with a more than capable Laker bench and we now have a team with the best future in basketball right now. On behalf of every Laker fan, whether we win the Championship or not, I AM SORRY MR. MITCH KUPCHAK! Sincerely, Satisfied Fan P.S. I hope Kobe apologises to you too... if he hasn't already. Who need Jerry West!!!!!
I would also like to encourage fellow Laker fans to apologise to the man as well... Give credit where credit is due!
Congrats to Mitch! You turned water into wine! P.S.S. Make sure Kwame packs his Elvis costume. Elvis is still King in Memphis.
i bow down to you mitch. thank you for this late christmas gift. now find a deal for odom and ship his ass out.

I'm signing off on this one as well. Mitch for GM of the Year! We gave up Crittenton, Kwame, Cook, Evans, and got Gasol and Ariza. Amazing. If he ships out LO for a large expiring contract, and a good role player no older than 25, then Mitch would be KING OF NBA GMs.
Mitch Kupchak, I love you. You are awesome. Sorry I doubted you in the past, you've gradually been improving each and every season. As of now, I will say that I am glad you are our GM, and I will never doubt you again. Keep using the wand Mitch, keep using it!
I feel like a loser. I was wrong about Bynum, now I was wrong about Mitch. Being wrong has never felt so good! It's like sex with your girl's best friend!
Mitch, thank you. I've been a huge critic in the past, but my god, you've shocked us all. You showed us you really do have a backbone to make a bold move. However, the reason I thank you most is because you didn't bite the bullet on the JO trade. Despite fan criticism and push from Kobe, you didn't budge, and boy am I happy. We kept Bynum, who'd have been an AS had he not been hurt, and it allowed us to pull off this trade, which is far better than that one. Did I mention that you somehow managed to pull this off without giving up Odom, which was brilliant? Thank you Mitch, you have finally brought the championship contender you guys promised Kobe when he resigned.
