That game was almost boring, except for when the rookies came out in the 2nd half. The rookies got some swift ball movement going! POB + Wright together looked pretty interesting.

Wright had a sick showtime style dunk that got me saying, "Oh damnnnnn!". Dang, that kid can fly... I mean he gets off his feet quickly, he jumps high, and his arm length makes his dunk almost unblockable if the shotblocker mistimed his jump. It's an aerial assault. He just has some of the longest sets of arms for a 6'9-6'10 guy and he moves really quickly.

I saw Bellinelli hit a shot and made some nice passes. Does he always need to fade away like that, though? Every shot I've seen him take is always catch and then fading away. Can you shoot consistently like that?

POB looked pretty nice. Can't see why we don't play him very much, but then I remember Nelly never develops the young bigs. He's the worst coach for developing centers. Worst.

I was at the game last night, one of the most memorable games that I've ever been to.

The pre-game atmosphere was pretty cool, the combination of J-Rich returning, Webber being in the building, and Baron being snubbed made a lot of crazy emotions and stuff. There were TONS of chants from "J-rich clap clap J-Rich clap clap" to "MVP MVP MVP" or "aaalll-star aaallll -star" before the effin game started. Whenever they mentioned Webber there was a clear spattering of boos, I'd say it was about 80-20 cheers to boos, and I'd say that was appropriate.

What's there to say about the game in quarters 1-3? We just killed them. The starters got a ton of rest and the young ugys got a ton of run and played great. CJ Watson and Pietrus were both excellent off the bench, Watson looks like hes getting more aggressive and more comfortable. Hes clearly a step slow compared to many NBA PGs but hes athletic enough to make it with some adjustments. Hes got very nice skills and even though hes not getting the calls a lot of the time you can tell he knows how to get to the FT line. Kelenna also had a very nice game off the bench.

Then came the 4th Q. What a fun quarter. CJ looked very solid again at point. Belinelli hit some nice shots and made some very nice passes, his defense was surprisingly solid as well. Wright looked good again and had a sick dunk (more on that below). He got some rebounds and altered a lot of shots as well. POB also looked good and showed he can score with ease, he also made Ryan Hollins look small.

    Here's Wright's dunk:

How many players in the league can do that? Look at where the ball is when he cocked it back. Dude looked like a legit 6'10 from where I sat and he burned Kelenna, Belinelli, CJ, Hollins, and Carroll down the floor. Hes got the AK47 body with insane length and athleticism to defend SG-C. Dude could be a monster down the line, for now hes looking more comfortable and in control than earlier in the season.

Sup, guys. Man, I still love watching that dunk over and over. Ha ha. It pretty much makes up for a half season of not seeing a guy bigger than 6'6 make an athletic play like that (except maybe Biedrins once or twice, but nowhere nearly as good as the Wright dunk). That was crazy stuff. The cool thing about Brandan Wright is that you know he's got the potential to do those kinds of moves, but he's smart/composed enough to play within himself (especially because you can't get away with dunks everytime because of how good nba defenders can be). But still... those hops and that arm reach ought to throw a shotblocker's timing off because of how quickly and high he can get up.
