    Are they lottery protected or anything?

    Just wondering if the Grizzlies could possibly turn this trade around in the draft LOL

    Would be tough. Lakers will get late first rounders and nowhere in the top 10. So, its not really of a concern. As for lottery protected. Im not sure.

    If they're lottery protected, it won't matter. This team was already good enough to be in the playoffs, now we're even better.

    Do we really want Rookies starting on our roster during Kobe's last bit of his prime anyway? The draft is usually just used for depth for LA, unless one gets lucky or waits a bit for a player to develop.

    Peter Vecsey said on NBATV's Gamenight that the 2008 pick is protected in top 3, and 2010 pick is protected in top 6.
