Have endorsements gotten ridiculous?

    So Dwight Eisenhower's granddaughter just endorsed Barack Obama.

    At what point does it just get ridiculous? Sure they can point to Eisenhower as representative of a group of non-Democrats who're leaning towards Obama, but that aside, does anyone care that the barely Republican Ike's granddaughter is voting for Obama?

    For that matter if you look at what JFK actually did as president, he was hardly a Democrat.
