I think it was very classy of Frank to start Twin and run the very first play for him. And I'm so glad it resulted in a dunk. I don't think Collins was quite worth what he was paid, but that wasn't his fault. He has embodied the meaning of the word "professional", and I'm sorry to see him go. I thought the role he's been in this year -- spot duty defensively in games, working in practices to help younger, more talented players learn the fundamentals of position defense -- was the one for which he was perfectly suited. I hope when his contract is up, the Nets get him back at vet's minimum so he can finish his career as a Net. Thanks, Twin. You were always my favorite Jason.

How ironic that his last bucket with the Nets was a dunk. Collins was a great guy though, his presence will be missed.
Most of yall need to stop, actin' like collins got popped or sumn. When dude was here, yall were bashin' him nights in and nights out.Now that he's gone, yall actin' like he was so important.Suck it up
Kind of disappointing this team couldn't pull together and pull out a win for Collins last game. Didn't they watch that movie Rudy where his teammates rally around him so he could play in one game? (2:00 minute mark) <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VL4fEUKwdPw&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VL4fEUKwdPw&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>
He's as much apart of the Nets contemporary era as Jason Kidd is. Collins was overpaid, and couldn't do the necessary things that a capable big man could, but I'll be damned if I don't feel some sort of attachment to a tradition of the team. It's the end of an era. I'm not seeing that people are sad because he might have an important part of this team, but rather that he was a part of this team.

Collins isn't the most talented player in the NBA, but I still respect him for the effort his brings. I believe everything Frank says in that video, and it's a bit of a shame that some people diss him like that. He isn't an offensive threat, so don't complain when he doesn't score a basket. Injuries have taken a toll on him too, so recognize that.

It's the feeling you get at the end of the season when the games are winding down and regardless if you have a playoff seed locked up or out of it completely, the games don't seem to have much meaning and things seem to be coming to an end. That's the feeling I get when watching Nets game now because of all the trade speculation.

Yet, the thing is, I never dissed him as bad or as long as some of the fans here.
