I'm not high on this fellow, he's weak, not a great defender, and has NO HEART! Guy can just walk all over him, he's getting push around tonight against UCLA. He reminds me of Adam Morrison alot more athletic. for my 2-guard I want a player who isn't scared to drive to the basket, and bang down low, when he needs to, Chase just doesn't do that, and has no heart, so there's not much you can do about it. he's a pure scorer and just can do much else, against pro level competition. He'll get push around very easly ala Durant. A comparison i'd make for him is J.R Smith, I wouldn't take him in the top 10. i think Bayless is the best pro prospect in that team, he might need to stay another year to maximize his potential tho.

Budinger has a much higher IQ than J.R. Smith and is a team player, unlike Smith who is out there for himself. Budinger is someone that isn't as good as you would like on defense but he tries, a lot of NBA guys don't even try. Chase is only a sophomore, he's gotten a lot stronger over his time in Arizona, and was held back due to a bug he got during last summer or else he would be a lot more stronger. Chase's game simply isn't to drive but he still does it when he has to, he's not settling for 3's all the time. Budinger has a silky smooth stroke, comparable to Kyle Korver's, and the worse case scenario for him in the NBA is a Kyle Korver like player. To say he doesn't have heart just showed you have not seen him play enough. Budinger carried Arizona in a bunch of big games this year, he's not someone that is going to yell like Noah but he leads the team by example. When Budinger gets to the NBA, and gets stronger, I can see him turning into Mike Miller.
I've watched a couple of games with him not showing up. One being against Stanford, where he was to scared to drive the ball inside, because the Lopez twins were there.

They're some of the better shotblocking combo in college right now. If anything, it shows how his IQ is IMO. He was also being guarded by several good defenders that game. I guess you haven't seen the games where he has been good, he drove quite a bit against Memphis, Oregon, Washington, etc. Budinger knows his limits, and doesn't want to push it by going to the well too much, he knows his strength is shooting, so why shy away from it?
If I was a Gm picking in the top 10, I don't want my starting 2 to be a pure shooter and not much else. You haven't told or I haven't seen him do much else.If he's a six man, I don't see him as a lottery pick.
