good golly that's a stacked card.
at least one good fighter in ever event save maybe Cummo who hasn't fought much and Gurgel who is not UFC material but he's Franklin's buddy. Should really be in the WEC IMO.
still beyond that there's going to be disappointment with some of these fights being on the undercard.

I really hope Tanner is back to his old form, really enjoy his fights.

Jake O'Brien was unwatchable against Herring. I hope AA breaks him.

I can't begin to describe how pumped I am to see Silva/Hendo. Could be one of the most epic wars we'll ever see.

I'm not happy that AA isn't even going to be on the main card. Guy is still a top 10 heavyweight and SHOULD be big nog's next fight. Instead he's going to migrate to fight for cuban or some other fight league. Although I would like to see M-1 pull him in to fight fedor

I love the OLD AA who used to fight to win but Fedor would wreck AA within 4 mins unless AA stalled.

Fedor vs. AA would be exponentially more exciting than the freakshow that was Fedor/Choi. If I wanted to watch men fight animals I'd go to youtube.

That being said I don't disagree with you. It would be a beating

As much as I like Hendo, I think Silva may just rock him in this one.

he may beat him, but I don't see Hendo getting rocked. He's lost 4 times in 5 years, 2 decision and 2 submissions. Both Submissions were to the Nogeuira brothers. One of which is the current UFC champ and weighed a good 30-35 lbs more than Dan. In fact he's never been knocked out. He's a tough guy and Silva may be the better striker but Dan has one punch power. Gonna be a great matchup IMO.

I've followed Hendo throughout his career in pride. I'm actually a PRIDE fan first. I was devastated when they were bought out.

I dont know. right now the SPIDER seems to be on a rampage. I hope Hendo pulls it out. And yes, your right.. He's never been rocked. yet...

From what I know of Hendo I like him a lot. I'm relatively new to the sport (1-2 years) and I don't know much about him. I know he has struggled with lesser fighters at this weight class. What seems to be the problem?

How does he fare against more athletic fighters like spider? Most of the fights I have seen have been against bangers.

Hendo has had success against athletic guys in the past, such as Ninja, Ronin, and Piranha, but Spider is on a much higher level.

This match-up is one of the most compelling MMA fights in history.

    $60,000

That dude got choked out for only $60,000 ... I would be looking for some of that Bug Light money before I got anywhere near a guy like Silva.

Nah, the $60,000 was a bonus. Hendo probably made $50-100k more for the contract fight plus endorsements.

don't forget the 4 main eventers usually get a bonus based on the number of PPV buys too.

they showed that when disproving Randy Couture's statements.
Couture got like a $1 be buy so he got like a $650K bonus or something like that.
