Kidd to Participate in Skills Challenge

Wait. Are players forced to do this skills challenge, or are they allowed to turn it down?

Well, this will be interesting.

 

I would have preferred to see Jose Calderon in it, but this isn't a bad selection by any means.

 

Why didn't he participate in the 2004 challenge? I hope he wins.

 

They send out invites and will publish the contestants if the invites are accepted.

He probably blew it off, declined the invite. He had his college jersey retired the same night.

umm.. all the players and GMs are gonna be there, he wants to show off his skills and show them he still has it in him so theyll think hes valuable

Or turning the ball over every 5 possessions?

 

I don't get why players like Tony Parker or Barbosa don't compete in these. They would be fun to watch with their speed.

 

I thnk Parker's done it previously, he's injured right now.

 

Maybe they should ONLY invite players that have demanded to be traded. It would be like the combo in the NBA pre-draft camp--all the scouts and GMs will stand on the sideline with their clipboards.
