<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chicago Bulls @ Seattle Supersonics Monday, February 4th, 2008; 9:00 CT; CSNC, FSNW, ESPN-1000 Probable Starters: Chicago Bulls: PG- Kirk Hinrich SG- Thabo Sefolosha SF- Andres Nocioni PF-Joakim Noah C- Ben Wallace Seattle Supersonics: PG-Earl Watson SG-Kevin Durant SF-Jeff Green PF-Chris Wilcox C- Kurt Thomas Game Story: It looks like the Chicago Bulls are finally getting a give me game, but the Sonics might just be another number added to the right side. The Seattle Supersonics are struggling on the year, at 12-35, but have made a surge in the last week like Barack Obama, and are going for their fourth win in a row against the Bulls. The Bulls are 18-28 on the year, most recently losing to Sacramento on Saturday night, coming into the game on a two game losing streak. Ben Gordon and Kevin Durant are the stars of the show. Ben Gordon is currently averaging 20.0 points on the year, coming off a 33 point effort in Sacramento. Kevin Durant is averaging 19.6 points per a game. The Sonics are a very poor team. They made Kevin Durant the 2nd overall pick in last year’s NBA draft. Durant is on pace to win the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award, but does not have the type of impact needed to win many games. The Sonics took Jeff Green with the fifth overall pick in a trade that sent their allstar, Ray Allen, to Boston. The Bulls got their first taste of the Sonics in December. Chicago blew out Seattle 123-96. Ben Gordon had 27 points and 6 assists in leading the Bulls to victory. Luol Deng scored 20 points, and Kevin Durant scored 16 points for the Sonics. Chicago enters the game tied with Indiana for 9th place. They are 1 1/2 games behind the New Jersey Nets for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. This is one of the easiest games that the Bulls have left on their schedule, even without Deng, they will have to fight through and get the easy victory. Memorable Moment: The Chicago Bulls defeated the Seattle Supersonics 87-75 to win their fourth NBA championship starting off a new three peat. Dennis Rodman pulled down 19 rebounds to help secure the victory. The game was played on fathers day. Michael Jordan collapsed in the locker room after the game, breaking out in tears in an emotional outburst on fathers day, in remembrance of his deceased father. This game capped off the Chicago Bulls’ historic 72-10 season, unlike the New England Patriots, the Bulls won the games that mattered most, closing out their historic season as champions.</div> http://www.dabullz.com/2008/02/04/bulls-seattle-preview/
Sonics announcers comparing Gray to Boerwinkle. Good comparison - big white stiffs who can pass pretty good. But Boerwinkle wasn't as polished a scorer. Believe it or not.
