With the trade deadline approaching, we are all trying to come up with trade scenarios. So instead of having to start a new thread everytime a trade impulse hits one of us, let's see all trade stuff in one place.

So I'll start off with a trade scenario involving Magloire (and Wright, Nachbar, Armstrong, Allen if need be to make contracts match) to get a reliable bench scorer/shooter in any of these guys:

    Kyle Korver
    Gordon Giricek (maybe)
    Jason Kapono (maybe)
    Damien Wilkins
    Delonte West
John Salmons (doubt they trade him though)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Trade to build a fastbreak team if Kidd is around:

Sean Williams and Marcus Williams for Andre Iguodala
Vince Carter for Kenyon Martin and Chucky Atkins

    Kidd/Atkins/Armstrong
    Iguodala/Wright
    Jefferson/Nachbar
    Kmart/Swift/Allen
    Krstic/Boone/Magloire

Then try to trade Magloire for a shooter I guess.

Magloire for Damien Wilkins and Mikael Gelabale.

Probably the only reasonable thing we can expect for Magloire.

What about Magloire for Zaza Pachulia straight up? Hawks get out of the deal 1 year early with Magloire's expiring. Nets get a big banger. Didn't the Hawks coach have a falling out with him?

It seems pretty tough to find a trade for Kidd. What about Kidd for Iverson and a couple of first round picks?

Nuggets need Iverson. Kidd doesn't have the shooting touch. And I think Karl really likes AI now.

Magloire for Pietrus works straight up. Would Warriors do it?

Magloire and Marcus for Charlie Villanueva and Charlie Bell.

Villanueva is stuck behind Yi and Bogut and has said it might be best to move on. Bell has a longer contract which they would be willing to move b/c they are rebuilding.

See with that though, we could just get Kidd for Harris if they are trading him, no?

I'd love for Marvin to come here though.

    Marcus Williams
    Antoine Wright
    Boki Nachbar
    Jamaal Magloire
    1st round pick

    for

    Al Thornton
    Cuttino Mobley
    Brevin Knight

The Clippers do it to get expiring contracts for Mobley's multi-year deal. They swap Knight to get a younger PG prospect in Marcus Williams. The Nets do it to get a shooter in Mobley, a steady backup PG in Knight. Thornton could be the deal breaker because the Clippers might not want to give him up.

    Kidd/Knight/Armstrong
    Carter/Mobley
    Jefferson/Thorton
    Boone/S.Williams
    Krstic/Swift

    Post-Kidd deal.

    Memphis-NJ:
Miller and Lowry for Magloire (expiring), Boki (expiring), Marcus Williams, 2 2nds (1 from Dallas deal, 1 future 2nd from Nets)

Next ORL-Nets is a 2 part deal since it doesnt work if it isnt. Before Deal nets cut one of KVH, Ager or Diop. (KVH unless league does not allow it)

    Part 1:
Vince and Darrel Armstrong for Arroyo, Garrity, Dooling, 08 1st, Future 1st.

    Part 2:
Trenton Hassel for JJ Redick and Maurice Evans

    Nets New Roster:
Starters: Harris, Mike Miller, RJ, Nenad, Boone
Bench: Sean Williams, Diop (expiring), Swift, Arroyo (expiring), Lowry, Dooling (expiring), Garrity (expiring), JJ Redick, Maurice Evans (expiring), Ager

A great way to start over with tons of money coming off the cap at the end of the year.

rockets set to acquire bobby jackson from NO for bonzi wells and mike james

espn.com is reporting that both team have agreed to the trade

IMO this makes NO even better, i mean james and wells were the 2 best bench players for the rockets. I really dont understand this deal for the rockets
