Papers all said Jackson disses Carter in reference to Phil Jackson, but did anyone catch Mark Jackson's dig at Kidd during the broadcast? After Fisher crossed over Kidd and went to the rim in the 4th Mark starts talking about what a great upgrade at the point guard position, a true professional that can defend and knock down the open jumper! Anyone else think that was a shot at Kidd? I found his choice of words interesting. Saying "true professional" and "can defend" right in the wake of Kidd giving up an easy bucket.

He got embarassingly schooled by Fisher. Knowing Jackson and his affinity for calling out players that quit, but his reluctance to ever say anything bad about Kidd, I think it was a direct jab. I also think Fisher turned it up a notch last night to show the Lakers organization they don't need Kidd.
