When Jefferson went down from the Lamar Odom elbow yesterday, Antoine Wright was the first guy off the bench to replace him. I believe he's normally the first swingman off the bench to enter the game for either Jefferson or Carter. But what I was thinking of is if the Nets should change this up and try increasing Boki's role and minutes by going with mainly a 3 man rotation in Carter-Jefferson-Nachbar and putting in Wright only when there is foul trouble to the others or need a little rest.

Last season Boki was an important weapon off the bench with his shooting ability. This season he has struggled but he's still (sadly) the best bench player. When Wright comes in the game it's hard to feel his impact on the game. He doesn't really provide that spark (like he did early in the season). But Boki has that ability to hit shots and especially 3's which can give that spark now and then which is something important to get from a bench player. And maybe with an increased role Nachbar will start rolling again like last season.

So I think they should try to make Nachbar the first guy off the bench to replace either Carter or Jefferson and should have either Carter-Nachbar or Jefferson-Nachbar on the floor as much as possible and use Wright more selectively.

It's worth trying because the bench hasn't really worked this season.

They should do that, but Frank is all about defense first, no matter how inept a guy like Wright is on offense and no matter how overrated his D is, which it definitely is.

Boki is seemingly the only player taking charges now. I give him kudos for that.

Really, there were about 10 plays that Vince, Josh, Sean, or RJ should have taken a charge, and would have gotten the call...but they didn't.

Last night, on the other hand, I saw 2 charges taken by Boki that caught me by surprise. And I loved it. I wanna see more court time and more of this from Boki, and I'd also like to see more charges taken by Sean and Josh (mainly Josh, cause he ain't that hot a shotblocker).

Those charges taken by Boki really had me missing Collins, Krstic, and Moore.

We allowed 105 points, when is Frank giving up this thing about defense, we don't have the guys with enough heart to do it. Boki has to see more minutes, at least he will open up the floor getting us better opportunities.
