Swift is probably really confused right now wondering why he is still on the Grizzlies considering how bad the Nets are playing.
Remember that game against the Celts where we were down by at least 20 heading into the 4th. Sean and Co. got it down to 8, against the Celts' starters, too, before the starters went back in.
If Swift was active he could be in the game right now learning the super duper complicated Frank offense.

At this point I don't even want any part of playoffs. What use of it? 20-30 points embarrassments? We've got enough of those during regular season. Trade underachievers and let the youth play without benching them after first mistake. I'm tired of Nets basketball and can't take it anymore...

VC contract is flawed because it was done not because they felt VC gave them the best chance to compete but because they felt he was more marketable. My post also pointed out how Kidd is just fine with this team being a .500 team as long as he gets paid. VC contract is stupid to me because your betting on a player to be the face of your franchise in 2010??? He is already on the decline where will he be in 2010. Now it wouldn't be stupid if the Nets were going to Brooklyn next year but since 2010 is the year it's stupid. So don't take my post as an attack at VC. It's one on this whole team mind frame. How it's about dollars and cents instead of wins and loses. That is why I asked "why should Thorn be embarrassed?" Management wanted a team that could make him money not give him wins.
