I found this kind of interesting. Our first home game (Gasol's Staples Center debut) after the road trip is against Atlanta. We'll get our revenge

I'm not really mad, you win some you lose some. I'm surprised we won yesterdays game and kept today's game close with Kobe playing/shooting horribly.
This one hurt. Even with Kobe being hurt and all the other excuses we could make, they should have pulled this one out. They have had to many this year where they lead all game just to blow it at the end.

Factor in that Gasol was just ok and Kobe could not score jack today, this should not be a surprise.

I'm not gonna make excuses for them.

Kobe played passive today coz of his dislocated 'pinky' LOL

We won that game before collapsing in the 4th Quarter. Those FT's missed by Fish and Odom at the end really hurt.
3 games in 4 days on the road and the tail end of a back to back are tough games to win. The Lakers simply ran out of gas in the 4th quarter and went ice cold for the final 8 minutes of the game. Credit to the Hawks for not giving up and pushing for the victory. Lakers went away from what was working in the first three quarters by running the offense through Gasol and feeding off the space he was creating. The Lakers got over dependent with the 3 ball and stopped scoring in the paint which allowed Atlanta to make their comeback. Kobe needs to get treatment on that pinky of his and I hope he considers skipping All-Star Weekend to rest his body.
That blonde sitting next to Kobe on the bench...expect a rape accusation...she was SMOKING HOT. Tig ol Bittays! Kobe's mistake at the end was excusable, majorly swollen hand plus solid defensive pressure...that's understandable. I'm sure nMg will call me out on this because I'm excusing Kobe's mistake, but Sasha...what the hell. That is why he usually rides the bench in the crunch. Fuckin idiot. How come whenever Odom has a good game, it doesn't seem to have an impact on us? Is Odom a player who has absolutely no impact on the outcome of the game? His contribution was there, but it did nothing for us.

Luke doesn't shoot the ball Odom gets a shot off, but air balls it Sasha shoots and MAKES a layup, but the Lakers needed a 3 pointer Maybe next time they get it right?

Mmm... This is why Kobe does it in the clutch..because nobody else is capable of making a rational decision.
3 games in 4 days is rough on any team, especially when they're all on the road. The team was tired and Kobe was hurt. So, while I'm not going to make excuses for the Lakers loss, I'm not going to fret over it. They'll bounce back and hopefully end this roady at 6-3 at the worst.
