Everything I read has good information on Fransisco Liriano's arm. It says that he can throw all of his pitches pain free, and at full speed. I'm really hoping that he will be the same pitcher he was his rookie season, the one that was on the verge of winning the Cy Young (with a 12-3 record and a 2.16 ERA, along with 144 k's in only 121.0 IP) over Johan Santana, who won it that year. Our bullpen is already solid, if Liriano can return to old form, and the other starters can play efficiently, we could still play well this year.
I think he's being slept on because he missed so much time, but he's gonna come back and dominate again, IMO.
