according to ESPN radio (Ric Bucher) the deal is getting serious....

    Nene
    Linas Kleiza
    JR Smith
    Eduardo Najera
    Future 2nd round pick

    for

    Ron Artest
    Mike Bibby

Denver's owner has stated that he's 100% willing to pay more luxury tax for a better team.

Wow the West will be stacked even more if this deal gets done.

Dallas will almost be forced to make a deal to keep up with the rest.

Who comes off the bench though? The Nuggets could go with either of these two lineups:

    PG - Bibby
    SG - AI
    SF - Melo
    PF - Artest
    C - Camby
    6th - KMART

    PG - Bibby
    SG - AI
    SF - Melo
    PF - KMART
    C - Camby
    6th - Artest

    PG - AI
    SG - Artest
    SF - Melo
    PF - KMART
    C - Camby
    6th - Bibby

    This is confirmed bull shit

From a Nuggets insider this evening, the Nuggets have had no discussions with Sac that involve Bibby and they have zero interest in him

I know Artest is psychotic, but would the Kings really trade him for JR Smith?

What a horrible trade for the Nuggets. Yeah, what they need is 2 more people who want more shots than they're currently getting.

And why would SAC do this? They finally get everyone healthy and are playing well.

They probably would since they exhibit similar levels of competitiveness, drive and insanity.

Karl would end up in a nut house after coaching those two though.

I agree with cpaw. Sacramento gets absolutely butt raped in this deal.

Artest and the Kings coach don't get along. Additionally, Artest has told the team he wants traded

At least Bibby isn't involved. The more stockpiling of non-PG in the west, the better the chances Kidd gets dealt for a decent deal.

I guess since it's sweeps time, so-called NBA experts will put anything out there to draw eyes and ears to ESPN.

    Rich Bucher is a dushbag.

And Artest to the Nuggets would be awesome. I'd love to see that.

This is what I said from the beginning. They should only go after Artest.

    AI, Melo, Artest, KMart, Camby

I hope this isn't all just a bunch of talk. This needs to happen if the nuggets want to be a contender. I like the Miller idea too. He would be great coming off the bench.
