<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'> Blame the Backcourt February 7, 2008, 9:54 pm Other than Josh Boone, not one Net has been very consistent this season. But the two stars in the backcourt probably deserve most of the blame for the Nets’ 20-29 record. Jason Kidd, obviously, doesn’t want to be here. And Vince Carter hasn’t played to his ability either. Everyone has an opinion who should go where: Steve Jones believes the Mavs need Kidd after seeing their conference foes make moves. John Schuhmann offers Atlanta and Denver as more suitable destinations. Ben Collins suggests sending Carter to Dallas and Jerry Stackhouse (!) thinks the Nets are trying to help Kidd. Don't blame Wright for not being able to hit a wide open shot with nobody within 20 feet of him. Oh, and don't blame Boki and Jefferson for completely giving up on defense in some games (within the first few minutes of stepping on court). No way, don't blame a completely thin bench, which consists of a 40 year old (should be used to it by now), a young, dumb point guard, a big man who can't stay healthy n acts emo at times, and a player who consistently doesn't do anything but hit shots, which he doesn't do all to well anyways. Only blame 2 players. That's it. One of which has been injured all season. Everybody else, kudos to you! You rock! Keepy sucking! We suck.
