<td><font face="verdana" size="1">Tyrik Rollison is not only one of the top quarterbacks from Texas in 2009, but also one of the best in the country. His junior season was an impressive one in which he posted stats of 3,691 yards and 37 touchdowns. His efforts earned him first team all-state (Class 4A ) honors. He may have some issues qualyfing, so prep school is looking like a possible option down the line.

Tyrik has very good touch and throws a nice, soft, and catchable ball for his receivers. His mobility is excellent and he is able to make plays with both his feet and his arm. He looks to pass first, run second. He needs to improve his mechanics, specifically his footwork. Needs to consistently plant his feet on his throws.</font></td>

Jackets fall in final 7-on-7 qualifier | Rockwall Herald-Banner

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Rockwall's 7-on-7 football team just missed a qualifying berth at the State 7-on-7 Championships with a semifinal loss at its own State Qualifying Tournament last Saturday.

Only the top-2 teams from 32 qualifying tournaments around the state advance to the state championships at Texas A&M University on July 11th and 12th.

Saturday's state qualifiers were the final opportunities for teams to make the 64-team championship field at College Station.

Garland and South Garland grabbed the two qualifying slots at the Rockwall tourney, with Garland defeating Lakeview in one semifinal and South edging Rockwall 20-18 for the other berth.

Garland, which is playing its first season of 7-on-7, defeated South 45-37 for the tournament title.

Rockwall's opening game against Sulphur Springs and star QB Tyrik Rollison, turned out to be one of the most exciting matchups of the tournament.</div>

5A-4A State Tournament Rankings Part Two | Scout.com

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>7. Sulphur Springs Wildcats: There might not be a more exciting team in the State Tournament than Sulphur Springs. The Wildcats were a virtual unknown regarding seven on seven until they simply blew the field away at the Tyler Lee SQT winning the tournament and scoring over 50 points in every game. The next week the Wildcats proved it was no fluke heading to DFW and rolling through three strong teams at the Rockwall SQT scoring no less than 42 points in each game. It all starts with QB Tyrik Rollison who throws maybe the best deep ball in the tournament and when teams play the deep pass he can dink and dunk with the best of them to guys like RB Ryan Young, WR Jace Jackson and WR Bryant Jackson. On defense Johnny McSheffrey and Jackson lead the way.</div>
