    Why? Because it brought us closer together and we'd be laughing about it for a week.I hate hallmark holidays. St Pats day is awesome though... all day, completely hammered on Guiness and Kilkenny with Irish backpackers. Yee Ha!

    I'm actually going up to see my girl on the 13th, but it doesn't really have anything to do with Valentine's Day. We planned it before and I kindof realized the coincidence afterwards. Valentine's Day was forged by Lucifer himself.

    In an ideal case, no it isn't about buying bullshit.

    The majority of people I know celebrate it in a shallow manner. Look at the commercials on TV.

    First off, Christmas and Easter aren't really about Jesus anymore. Who are you kidding? So no, I don't paint easter eggs or care about the Christmas machine. I can be religious without supporting what i feel are ****ed up holidays. When I say I don't believe in holidays, I mean in the general context they are viewed in.

    I can also celebrate Christ's birth or mourn for his death any day I wish.

    Yeah I forgot to mention this but you are correct, you don't know jack about me, whereas I can tell more easily how the majority of people around me (or the country/whatever) feel about most holidays, even religious ones.
