McHale on trades: The Wolves have just five players on their roster who were with the team last season, but McHale said he's not ruling out making another move before the Feb. 21 trade deadline if a deal makes sense.

"It depends on who you're talking about and what players are available," McHale said. "Am I out here saying that we need to make a bunch of changes? No. Are we starting to get a nice little core group of young guys you can move forward with? Yes. Is that solidified completely yet? No. Are we still always looking for stuff? Absolutely.

"We're talking to a lot of teams. Will anything come of it? I don't know. I don't think that right now we're saying we have two or three guys we've just got to move."

My guess is that they are shopping Green to see what the price is, and if they can't find anything they will just let him walk this summer. Other than that, I'm not sure if I see anything happening. Minnesota has plenty of young assets, but I think they are still evaluating and aren't quite sure who to let go just yet. I could see a small deal, but nothing major. Nobody is going to take on Toine until next year and nobody will bring in Marko's bad deal either.

We'll see, but I don't think anything is really going to happen, other than a small deal involving Green. Even then - ehhh.
