Signing Lebron is a fantasy dream right now, what with rumors of his contract with Nike being the incentive to come here. If we want to have legit chances, we'd have to clear cap room and keep Jason Kidd.

Um Kobe wont be a free agent by that time... Bynum will obviously be resigned.

Odom will be a FA though...

I agree that that list isnt accurate since Bosh, Lebron and a lot more all stars are said to be free agents next summer when they've just resigned for new contracts

It's rumored that Lebron James' contract with Nike gets bumped up to 100 million if he plays in a big market city: thus, Brooklyn.

there's a lot of garbage on the list, as well as players that are (or will be) in their mid-30s.

Regardless, if all these players are so good, why do half of them play on terrible teams?

We have to see where the Cavs are at then. Look what he has been able to do with little help. Think what happens if he finally gets a team around him.

The Cavs were so worry about keeping James happy and competing the signed any and everyone. They threw that money at Larry after Redd turned them down and we won't even mention Damon Jones.

The only big free agent I could see changing cities would be D Wade. Only because he has already won a ring and when he is able to opt out Ben Wallace contract will be up. He has already admitted that it was a dream of his to play in Chi Town.

The Heat are also aware and the reason they moved Shaq.

What am I thinking--let's go out and sign Quentin Richardson, Darius Miles and JR Smith! They'd be a big help.

Yes, because I was recommending those exact 3 players.

For one if we aren't looking to rebuild there's some interesting pieces there, and some young talent, as well.

    LeBron James
    Chris Paul
    Deron Williams
    Chris Bosh

Those are the only players that interest me on the list but are franchise changers. We bring one of those guys with us to Brooklyn and we will have other talented players following. Also, these guys will be like 25 - 26 then and still be young.

Guys like Josh Smith and Ben Gordon will have new teams by then this off-season where we can't sign any of them.

I actually really would like JR Smith on this team. He's young and he'd be a huge upgrade. Anything about him being 'a bad person' are inconsequential to me.
