<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>BOSTON (AP)?€”Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett withdrew from the NBA All-Star game Sunday and was replaced on the Eastern Conference roster by Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace. The announcement was made by the commissioner?€™s office after Garnett missed his seventh consecutive game with an abdominal strain. Celtics coach Doc Rivers, who will coach the East in the Feb. 17 game in New Orleans, said Garnett will not play until the team returns from the break. ?€œHe?€™s out until after the All-Star break,?€? Rivers said after the Celtics beat the San Antonio Spurs 98-90 to improve to 5-2 since Garnett was injured.</div> Link Now that Garnett is out of the All Star Game, this probably means Chris Bosh will get his wish and start. Congrats to Bosh I guess...but Rasheed over Jose? COME ON, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET SOME RECOGNITION IN THIS LEAGUE
Bosh will probably start. Hopefully Calderon takes being slighted to heart and comes out next season playing at an even higher level, then they'll be forced to recognize his efforts.
I think there was a positional element to this. You have Garnett a F out, you're not going to replace him with a PG in Jose. Guys like Rashard Lewis, Turkoglu, Vince, RJ who can aso be inserted as F's, though some not PF's would have more of a complaint.
Not trying to start anything, but why do Raps fan love Caldron so much, it seems like in every thread a Raps fan mentions Calderon atleast one time.

We've never had that kind of consistent production at the position. .533 from the field, .461 from three, .921 from the line, 3.2 boards, 8.9 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.6 turnovers, 5.6:1 assist to turnover ratio, 12.4 points.

Ever since TJ went down. If he didn't step up, no way in hell the Raptors would be having a record over .500 right now.
While watching the Raps vs. Wolves game I heard the Minnesota commentators say that Bosh will be a center in the All-Star Game. Is this true?
I think he was chosen as a reserve center, but if he takes Garnett's place, it'll be as a PF. Dwight's the starting 5 for the East.
