This guy still has it, wow, only if he gave this kind of effort every game. We would be unstoppable. So how many of you people still think Vince is crap and or a regular player? [IMG]

I think it goes without saying that "Vinsanity" should have an asterisk by it that leads to "New Jersey version." In this sense its his ability to lead jaw dropping drives to the basket. I think we've been seeing more of that over the last couple of games, although I would be pretty impressed if his ankle has been healing without him missing a game.

not to be a buzzkiller but with Vince you shouldn't be surprised if he goes ~ 16 against Wolves. Consistency is a virtue!

Carter still has the talent to get it done, but consistency is what he's lacking. Could just be a mental thing, or maybe his injury is worse than we thought.

Instead of jaw dropping dunks we are seeing a variety of jaw dropping lay-ups.

For whatever reason VC just doesn't have the same desire to win as a Kobe Bryant.

I think the difference is more because of age and injury than personal desire, if you had to pick one.

Vince is a little over a year older than Bryant. It's not like we are talking Kidd and Chris Paul.

Dollar for dollar, I do not think Vince ever played with the desire of Bryant. That's taking nothing away from Carter's ability.

I am the biggest Carter fan in the world and I can agree with that. That is not who he is and he has never been like that. He has shown flashes like that but Vince is too nice of a guy to have that killer instinct and that Kobe intensity. But I realized that a long time a go so its not surprise for me. I still enjoy his game tremendously and he continues to keep me interested in NBA basketball.

BTW, I love his chemistry with SWAT.

It wasn't a knock on Carter at all. He and Bryant are just different people. I appreciate VC for who he is.
