I took the first volume of He-Man out of the library over the weekend, and it's brought back a LOT of memories. An interesting thing to note, though, is the fact that at the end of the first episode of the show, he cautioned against people trying to get ahead quickly by cutting corners, after Skeletor tried to banish everyone into some dimension using a vanishing diamond Macguffin. It's funny, but I don't remember He-Man giving life lessons so much, though I distinctly recall GI Joe telling me that knowing is half the battle. Anyone else watch He-Man lately?
