I'll just steal yours. New Jersey Nets (22-29) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (10-39) February 12, 2008 Game 52, Home Game 27 IZOD Center, East Rutherford, NJ 7:30 PM ET Starting Lineups Kidd Carter Jefferson Krstic Boone Key Bench player: S. Williams Telfair Jaric Brewer Gomes Jefferson Key Bench Player: Foye Nets Notes To start this off: last time these two teams met, Al Jefferson dropped 40 and the Wolves won, 98-95. Crap. Nets lost a 15 point lead in the last 10 minutes, and lost to a Gomes 3 pointer and a pair of free throws from Jefferson. Krstic got his first start the other night, and looked pretty good out there. 8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 fouls, no turnovers, and his shot's still looking great. Off the bench, Sean Williams did great. He brought exactly what we needed: 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a whole lot of energy and aggressiveness. He defended Dirk as well as any other top defender in the league. Swift got some play, with 2 points, 1 rebound, 1 block... and possibly showing some promise, as a spark off the bench...? Jason Kidd, with more bullshit about a trade demand. Surprised? Nope. Vince Carter looked much better against Dallas, showing more aggression, and his shot looked pretty damn good too. Same for RJ, I could've sworn I saw him trying just a bit harder. Josh Boone will be counted on again to provide solid defense and rebounding in the post. Last matchup, he was overpowered and outplayed by Jefferson...will we see the same Boone we saw that night, or will he be ready to go up against the young premier big? Injuries None Theo Ratliff, knee Prediction Well, the Nets got owned by Al Jefferson last time and lost to Minnesota. So, unless the team follows Frank's gameplan (I know he has one) to stop Al Jefferson, this will be a really, really close one. I'll predict a loss, just for fun!
Minny 96 - Nets 89 I'll leave you with a little something to look forward to...

Differently built team, a team who has and will give us trouble just because of their size. Especially Al. How the hell are we going to stop this guy, double him, sure, but we can't even block his ass off the boards.
I pray to god that Jefferson does not drop 60 on us. Have to miss this game for Valentines Day stuff instead haha.
I expect this to be a good game tonight. I see Kidd getting his 100th triple double tonight, and the nets pulling this game out in the end. Nets 96-Timberwolves 91
Honestly other than Boone who can even pretend to guard Jefferson? Swat's to skinny, Nenad is rubbish defensively and well Magliore and Allen are well...you know. Frank better let Swift get in there...for some reason I think he may be a better matchup defensively.

Might as well put Krstic and Boki on him, have them flop, and hope they get the charge calls. Also, attack Al on the offensive end, as much as possible. This means make sure Boki and Richard are in when Al's in as much as possible, make sure he's guarding Sean and Krstic, and make Vince attack the basket.
that guy we have at the end of the bench, not the point guard, should get pt if know one else can guard Jefferson.
Krstic and Boone actually play pretty well together...less clutter in the middle with Krstic hitting those 12-15 footers.
