<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kobe Bryant demanded a trade but is still in LA. Andrei Kirilenko demanded a trade but is still in Utah. Sean Marion demanded a trade…and he’s moved to Miami. ESPN’s Chris Sheridan thinks Jason Kidd is more likely to stay than move for two reasons: the offers are awful and Kidd’s reps are trying to limit the Nets’ options. Vince Carter –and someone else– to Indiana for Jermaine O’Neal seems more likely.

I would rather wait until the off-season to make moves rather than rush it. We can get better offers then.

That was repeated a lot last year at this time. Have the offers improved?

I expect them to improve given the competition in the West now. If the Mavericks make another 1st round exit, Mark Cuban might want to make some changes.

He might be thinking about it now. After all, Dallas got blown out by NJ, and then lost to Philly.

Also I'm pretty Josh Howard got injured. So, things aren't really looking good for them.

I hope they don't want Kidd, because I want Kidd to stay. But Cuban is going to get him in the end because he really wants to win and dosn't care about the money.

All things point Cuban is not going to trade for Kidd rather for Cassel or Miller, but not Kidd. He and Avery are adamant to keep Harris who has to be a centerpiece of Kidd's trade.
