Kidd's old, who knows if he'd even stay (I know he wanted to go to Dallas, but maybe he'd rather team up with Bron or Kobe, or things could change.) Howard is a free agent fairly soon, and Dirk's getting up there. So it could wind up being a pretty good pick.
I hope the part about Antoine Wright going to Dallas doesn't happen. If Dallas is expected to resign Stack after he is bought out, what is the need for another swingman for Dallas, especially one that can't do anything? We already have Josh Howard, Trenton Hassell, Deaven George, Eddie Jones and Stackhouse (if he is actually being bought out and resigning).

The problem was that we didn't have enough scoring off the bench to hide his offensive failures. Next to a guy like Stack or Terry off the bench, Wright is going to look great.
Thorn's just retooling. He's going to see how VC, RJ and Devin play out. I see VC becoming more of the playmaker setting up the team half court wise with harris running the break. Harris has the ability to hit the open shots. I can see thorn holding onto Stack, can't see his figure sit on the cap for 2 more years. He can help back up the wings instant offense off the bench. If anyone is moved out of this package it's Diop. Can't see him sticking around after the season, thus a possible buyout to save a bit more cash....or single player trade out for an exception/pick.

next question...what does this mean for marcus? devin obviously is being traded for to be the franchise point guard... does this mean marcus is being slated to be traded or he just has to suck it up and be a backup. i dont think marcus will be productive knowing hes a backup to a player not named jason kidd. maybe marcus will be used with vince since marcus has some appeal. still plenty of questions need to be addressed

(don't answer that) draft picks in the first rd. are very valuable, look at the Lakers where they got Farmar or NY when they got David Lee...
