I see him twice a year and honestly can't remember much about him off the top of my head other than him being a good defender and having a bunch of potential. I think he's also fairly athletic. Other than that... I don't know much. So uh, what's his deal?

Is he a fast break guy? Shoot first or pass first? Am I remembering his defensive ability accurately? Is he indeed athletic? Fast? One of those PGs that destroy us because we can't guard the super quick PGs? Is he clutch? A guy willing to take big shots? Something else?

    Thanks.

Good scoring skills... Good vision of the court... Great first step... Very quick and intense... Very athletic... Active defender... Not very strong... Bad three-point shooter.

He does not have good court vision. Rather, he is below average for a PG

I've honestly always thought of him as more of an SG, but with the speed and skills to make up for his smaller size. Fast, definitely, but doesn't really have the passing skills of a PG.

Fortunately that doesn't matter as long as we have Carter, who is probably now the best passer on the team.

If you post the Hoopshype scouting report at least link to it.

Claiming it as your own is some weak shit.

I doubt it happens since Thorn doesn't trade players at their peak value, but Harris is slobbered over by a lot of GM's.

I'd like to see Thorn rip off another team in a Harris trade.

He's fast and can get in the lane.
He needs to improve his jumper that's for sure.

I doubt Thorn will trade Harris.

He finally acquired a player his head coach will actually like!

I love Harris as a backcourt-mate to an offenseive initiator like Wade or Kobe.

This makes sense if Vince Carter plays at a high level.

I wish Harris was a better shooter, but other than that I really like him.

My problem with Harris is I don't see him becoming nearly as good as people are expecting him to be. However, there are NBA GM's that also have, IMHO, over-inflated opinions of him. The Nets could get a lot for him.

    Sounds like a Net!

One thing I'll be happy to see is a PG that drives to the rim. Been awhile since we had that.

Top-notch penetrator, very fast, decent defender, good size, lacks playmaking skills and shooting touch. Overall not a bad replacement for Kidd in his twilight years.

That's a good point. It seems like a nice situation. The Nets are not really under any pressure. They can take their time, see how he fits in and decide if they want him long-term.He hasn't played all that great up until now, so it's unlikely his value will go down.

    Are you talking about me?

If so, that's pretty harsh man, although I guess that's understandable seeing how frustrating the team has become.

And oh yeah, I haven't looked at Hoopshype in months.

    Edit:

Oops, I just checked Hoopshype and I realized you weren't talking about me, sorry ghoti [IMG]

#11 in PPS, #18 in A/48, #20 in APG, so it seems he's more of a scoring point than distributing. I wonder if he could wind up being our SG of the future, especially if Marcus develops. I think a team of Marcus/Harris/Jefferson/Krstic/Boone would be nice.
