The Nuggets survived yet another horrible first half performance to eek out a win against the revitalized Heat. AI went 5-20 and couldn't buy a basket. Melo was 9-23 and Anthony Carter was making poor decisions with the ball. The story was how the rest of the team picked up the win. After allowing the Heat to shoot 61% in the first half, the defense clamped down to allow 36% shooting the rest of the way. Kenyon Martin owned the 3rd quarter on both ends of the floor scoring 12 points and then JR Smith took over in the 4th with four three pointers in the early part of the quarter. Some bonehead plays down the stretch and Camby not rotating out to guard Mark Blount in the corner lead to the game going into overtime. Thankfully, Wade missed his final jumper and the Nuggets survived. If the team can continue to get this type of play from the rest of the team (Marcus, Kenyon, LK and JR) and Karl starts trusting JR some, the Nuggets will be a dangerous team even if they don't make a trade. Now onto Orlando where the Nuggets always seem to find a way to lose.
