No reason for any of the guys to hold back tonight. They have a long rest after this game and the Lakers can come out with a 7-2 record, which would be outstanding and a huge confidence booster heading into the second half of the season.

This game should be a win, for the first time K-Cal doesn't have a delay game!

Gasol off to a great start, he had a nice block on Jefferson.

Wow Fisher tires to spin and shoot with a hand in his face. What is it with him and the difficult shots he takes?

That's his weakness, the GS fans were somewhat right about him, although he obviously fits better here.

Gasol with two blocks on Jefferson already, Odom can't finish.

    The Machine with the three!

Haha! Yes! Sasha hits the three with just over a second left in the quarter.

Pau has a great combination of grace and power.

A win here would be a great way to end a should've been a demoralizing road trip.

Did Derek Fisher leave his jumper in LA? He's been ice cold on this road trip.

Lakers up big at the half despite it though!

This might FINALLY be the night Odom gets a triple double this year. 7/11/8 still 1 minute remaining in the 3rd.

Sweet way to end the road trip. Just realized that after tonight, we don't play again until after Allstar Weekend. And our first game back will be against Atlanta at the Staples Center. Can't wait to get revenge, and of course, watch Gasol's debut in Los Angeles!

Key word is "should have" been a demoralizing road trip. This dominating road trip is going to be a hell of a good boost going into the second half of the season.

While I didn't watch the game, I've been following it on Yahoo!. First and foremost, Kobe had another solid game, though not his best shooting effort. Pau looks to have had a solid game with 19/9 in only 28min on 9/11 shooting. Now that's what I call efficient. Also, good to see Odom with the triple double. As I said in the other thread, I full expect for him to have more games like this. He can focus more on being the facilitator now and getting others involved as opposed to having to worry about scoring, so I think expecting 7apg or so out of him isn't a reach, especially with Pau in the post and Kobe and co. out on the wings. Also, has anyone else realized how much of a beast he's been on the boards? 16 tonight, 18 a couple games ago. This month, he's averaging 11.6rpg, yea, I'll take that any day of the week. He's also finding consistency, scoring at least 10 points in all but one game this month.

On the note of Gasol, this is actually the first time since he became a Laker that he had back to back really good games. Not sure if anyone else noticed, but he basically was having a good game followed by a mediocre game. Hopefully he's managing to find some consistency now the more he gets into the flow of the offense.

    Hope he feels better.

But, we have the ALLSTAR WEEKEND coming up! No more games for like another week or so. Hopefully Kobe will take the time to rest up and heal, even if that means sitting out the Allstar events.

I was watching some highlights, that crossover from Kobe on Brewer gave me goosebumps.
