How many decibels will the Mavericks next home game reach in their booing of Devin George?

Ha ha ha. Man that guy is caught in between a rock and a hard place. He's got to look out for himself, but he'll be hated by those that want this trade to go down.

    I have a few questions :

Why does BArnes continue to shoot 3 pointers and spot up when he is the worst shooting player on the team with over 30 attempts ( ellis finally quit jacking the 3 ball) ? Barnes is a horrible shooter. Shooting 27% and still jacking it up.

Why is Barnes so afraid of contact? I have never seen a guy more soft than Barnes. How many "And-1" fouls is this guy gonna give? Was he a matador in another life? He does his stupid flip shots instead of going strong taking contact and going to the line, he avoids contact at all costs. And they said Dunelavy was soft. Barnes is like a marshmellow.

Why is BArnes getting any minutes? I would think you would want someone who actually plays defense to get in the game.

Why does BArnes try and act tough, talking trash with Amare'? We all know he would take the CArmelo Anthony approach and hit and run.... Well at least the run part.

Why does Barnes cry and whine after every foul call?

Wouldnt it be nice if when he clapped his hands after his tenth mistake on the floor in 5 minutes it would create season ending carpal tunnel.

How much larger is that bald spot on his head gonna get before he shaves his bowl cut once and for all?

    Is 22 BArnes Basketball IQ?

Why not post this question in the Dallas forum? Those are the people who are better equipped to answer that question.

I read some posts from a Dallas Mavs community and they were actually thankful Gump used his no-trade clause.

The second question answers the first one, I suppose. Maybe the guys is in a slump, much like many of the starters are having lately. BD when 0-7 before getting going earlier this week. BD got rid of his headband and started hitting them. Who knows?

The flip shot is not stupid if it scores. I saw him make one of those the other night. The guy does seem a bit streaky in his scoring.

Barnes is getting play time because he knows what to do, and has practiced enough with the other starters to prove that. Remember, Nellie's number one rule is "shoot the ball". So even if he's hucking it up there, he is doing exactly what is asked of him.

Every player except Tim Duncan whines about getting fouled. Timmy is just non-emotional. Nothing new, and completely acceptable.

Amare started the trash talk after Barnes fouled him. If you rewind the play, you can see Barnes replying back to Amare, "...that's just basketball..." as Amare was *whining* about getting a little tap from Barnes.

I would rather he clapped than do something stupid, like get a tech. Whatever he needs to do to keep his composure without hurting the rest of his team. Why do you focus so much of your attention on hating Barnes? Do you even watch the rest of the game being played?

Come on, kid, let it go.

Barnes is a high risk player, but I like him. Sure he has an ugly jack-knife jumper, but what more is there to complain about when you get a near all-around player that can make some baskets and plays for others? In games he can do a good Sjax impression which is why I respect him a little more than most bench players who don't have that capability to make others better. It's probably why Don Nelson really likes him. This sounds funny, but for this particular team I'd rather have Barnes than George.

I always felt that if Barnes is so bad, then the announcers would have more to comment about like they do with Pietrus (who simply does not have a clue the majority of the time). Barnes is just high risk, that's all, but I don't think he's dumb.
