Why does Devean George need to preserve his bird rights? Does he honestly think some team is going to give him more than the MLE or would want to preserve their MLE by trading a player for him in a S&T? Seriously?
Yea, I find it laughable what he thinks he's worth on the open market. He's a one year vet minimum guy from now until the end of his career. I have a slight recollection that he used the Nets to up LA's offer to him a few years back.

I don't blame him. NJ is ugly as all hell, only positive about it is how close it is to NY. Maybe he wants another ring? Much better shot in Dallas. I don't think anyone can blame George. Dallas gave him that power, so he has every right to utilize it.

I'm pretty sure he just doesn't feel like being inconvenienced by the trade.
