The sensible thing is to establish a Posting Commission. Every post would be reviewed by the Commission for content before being added to a thread. However, to keep things moving, I'd propose that posts that haven't been rejected within a three-hour, forty-five minute time limit should be deemed acceptable. What do you think?

Of course, I've only been a member here for six months, so what do I know. I'm only an egg.

Well I don't think you need a posting commission to figure out "OMG WTF LOLZ", is making this forum look bad if it comes out of the mouths of people who have been here a while.

Or do we need this elaborate commission to decipher that conclusion? Give me a ****ing break Dump. Kobe23 is just an arbitrary throw in I mentioned that has some problems (he's not the perfect antagonist and he's a decent guy). Other offenders are clearly more obvious.

When did I say new members are stupid? Read very slowly DUMP, I'd just go easy on the new guys to entice them to stay here. Then once they fall in love with the community or whatever, I'd warn them at least about egregious posts.

Even though i disagree with your stale jokes and satire, you still didn't SPAM this board with hawkfan's type of messages. I respect that you elaborate your points.

Huevon, I respect you bro. I love you as a poster and you know that, but if you're going to put someone's name into this discussion, don't you think it would be better to send a PM? (no offense)

Also, if this is such a big problem, why not just eliminate post count altogether? People shouldn't be posting here just to increase their post count. Post count means nothing to me. The only thing that matters is the actual content in the post.

I think Kobe23 has had some bad moments, I don't think he's a bad guy or anything, I was being honest and let's not overstate my criticism of him.

The post count means nothing to me either, whatever.

Haha, Dumpy the message board nazi.

I use the occasional "girlie post" but not too much. I see sometimes in the Nets forum posts that almost need an urban dictionary for them, but it isnt too much of a big deal. when an overflow of horrible posting comes(like back on BBF.com), then we should discuss "guidelines" even though it is practically impossible for this site to remain seen being "good" if there were strict guidelines.

Why is deleting "WTFFXXXX“?1!!!!!!111" posts being strict? Why the hell would you or Dump want to see that over and over?

Let's not argue about semantics and shit like that, you people know exactly what I am referring to. Don't generalize my position please.

Posts in all caps (not in a joking matter) really shouldn't be allowed.

In all seriousness, I'm very wary about limiting or restricting content. It's a door that I don't want a part of, and it's one of the primary reasons that I've never, ever, ever been a moderator of any internet forum, nor ever plan to. If someone wants to submit a two-word post, hey, it's no skin off my back. It's not like I'd be off finishing my novel if I wasn't taking four seconds to read it.

Fair enough Dumpy, I just think those kind of posts make this board more unpopular if anything. If deters people from wanting to stay. Let me explain:

For example, have you ever seen NBA youtube debates? That stuff is childish and ridiculous, I don't want any part of those youtube comments because the people there are so immature and have no class. This isn't the case here of course, but it's a microcosm.
