If the Hawks can't resign Josh Smith

    Take a step backwards and figure what this team really is.

    So many mixed positions where any given night, someone is the highest scorer. Of course that is not bad but consistancy is key to a winning basketball club.

    If we can't re-sign Josh Smith, then I don't know what we'll do. Who's on the market during the time of Smith's free agency?

    With the bibby trade, i'm pretty confident that the ownership is willing to spend some money.

    Every organization has its limit. And this front office is conflicted enough (as shown during the Joe Johnson fiasco). They may re-sign Smith. But what of Marvin Williams and eventually Al Horford/Acie Law? With a suddenly expensive backcourt, the Hawks could have some difficult financial decisions to make over the next couple years.

    i have a feeling they'll resign both Marvin and Smoove. Childress might have to go now. Horford and Acie isn't anytime soon, and they'll have some cash after Bibby's contract expires.
