Scott May has graciously accepted an offer to keep everyone here in line as a moderator. For those of you who don't know Mr. May, I suggest you relax, do what he says, and mind the taser.
Every board needs at least one east coaster who peppers his posts with obscure references, snark, and phrases like "sweetmeats and nosegays." (Hopefully ScottMay can find one of those guys and bring him along.)
Thanks, everyone. I've lost track of how many times over the years I've been asked to moderate Bulls' forums at various sites. Until now, I've never accepted such an offer -- and I've never had to mull for more than two seconds before saying no. So why did I answer yes this time? It's the right time and right place. I think the Bulls are facing some decisions in the upcoming months that will be as important and far-reaching as anything that's happened in the post-dynasty era. There is going to be a ton of good (it is to be hoped!) stuff to discuss and analyze. I'll do whatever I can to help facilitate the conversation. And for those of who you don't know me from other boards: my user name is a hat tip to former Indiana great and Bulls 1976 first-round pick (#2!) Scott May. He was my first favorite athlete and he's why I became a Bulls fan. Cheers!

LOL -Petey</div> I did go to school and live in Chicago from 1988-1995 -- I didn't choose to do that because of the Bulls, but it was a nice fringe benefit. And a lot of New Yorkers went to my school, so I always had plenty of beer and money in May from betting on those Bulls-Knicks series. Those were the days. In all seriousness, I really have no right to complain about anything that happens to the Bulls for the rest of my life.
The Bulls forum here just took a giant leap forward. Welcome, Scott May, and godspeed to your son, whose career was looking good until the injury bug bit.
