Update on the current situation of the trade as of today Feb.15 2:10PM Sources: Kidd's trade to Mavs could still happen, but may require Van Horn what i found most interesting from the article is that his "bird rights" are useless without the mavs cooperation. So if cuban is telling him that hes not goin to resign him or use him in a sign and trade deal those rights dont mean crap. There only applied to the current team hes with. So he should stop being a prick. Hes no longer looking out for himself because these bird rights only apply with the Mavs cooperation and after this stunt they are defintly not goin to resign him or use him in a sign and trade. Now hes just being selfish and wants to stop this trade from happening, hes hurting both organizations by doing this. Its really unbelivable

Could George be persuaded? Will KVH be involved? Will Stack be prevented from rejoining the Mavs if traded? Why the hell does this kinda crap only happen to the Nets?
It's PT that has him up in a tizzy. He wants to drive up his market value. Me you and my maid know this guy should not be paid more than the vets minimum. Cuban gave him 2 million last year, he had a 2 million player option that he declined, Cuban gave him 2.4 this year. Thanks Mark, but I'm blocking this trade. Avery goes and plays him 43 last night and 33 on his 0-11 night. So Avery sounds like he doesn't like the trade. Being that the Mavs have apologized to the Nets, I think in the end there will be too much pressure on George, he will eventually relent.
