<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Dallas Morning News - League spokesman Tim Frank said that there was no truth to the rumor that the league will block Jerry Stackhouse's return to Dallas if he is traded to New Jersey and then is bought out of his contract, but he did say that they will look into comments Stackhouse made when the details of the Jason Kidd trade to Dallas became public, the Dallas Morning News is reporting. Dallas and New Jersey are still working to come up with a deal which will see Kidd join Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks , but it most likely will not be the same deal that was blocked by Devean George, according to the report. "My gut said it was done," Kidd said. "And it's been put on hold. I'm a big believer that things happen for a reason. Whatever happens is meant to happen. I'm a Net right now. But I would love to be a Mav if it works out. "It's just awkward. There's a lot of people in limbo, not just myself. It'll work itself out, hopefully sooner and not later."</div> http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...de.2d4ada6.html Figures it was complete bullshit. There's no way it was possible for the league to block that legally, as there is absolutely nothing illegal about the move.

I had to have thought that if some college student had no qualms about suing an NBA regulating franchise, that the Mavs + Nets wouldn't eiter.
Please you don't think that Stu Jackson pick up the phone and made some calls??? Jerry comments had went from cocky to humble. The league is saying this because they know the likely hood of the deal happening has almost went to 0

The KVH scenario is actually not that bad of an option... It would only cost them 3 million more to do the deal.
