I like this deal for Atlanta. They finally get a good PG and can teach a few things to Acie Law. They also don't need Shelden Williams anymore now that they have Horford.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Sacramento Kings have agreed to send point guard Mike Bibby to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for four players, according to ESPN.com. The Kings will receive Anthony Johnson, Tyronn Lue, Lorenzen Wright, and Shelden Williams from the Hawks for Bibby. When he heard the news of the deal, Bibby had this to say to the Sacramento Bee: "I had some good times here in Sacramento. Sometimes you need a change, and you never know where that might take you. I just prayed and asked for what might be the best for my family, and this is what happened so you can't question it." "I'll always have love for the people in Sacramento, the Maloofs, and [President] Geoff [Petrie]."</div> Source Also, according to David Aldridge on TNT, the Kings will get a 2nd round pick as well. I like this deal for both sides. Atlanta gets an experienced point guard to help them make some noise. The Hawks are a team on the rise as it is, and now they've got themselves a borderline All-Star caliber veteran to run the show. I like it for them, although this really has me laughing at the fact that Atlanta supposedly turned down Amare Stoudemire this past summer because they didn't want pay luxury tax dollars - now they trade for Bibby. It's a good trade, but still a little ironic if you look back at that rumor. For Sacramento, this makes a lot of sense. Get expiring contracts and a young PF that isn't afraid of contact like everyone else on that roster (except Artest, of course). Shelden hasn't panned out in Atlanta, but I think he can make a lot of a brand new opportunity in Sacramento. This deal helps them financially in the short-term and defensively in the long-term. Good deal for both sides, but I'm a little shocked. I'm not surprised that Bibby was dealt, but I never envisioned a deal involving Atlanta. I thought he was going to Miami.
1. T.Lue is the worst basketball player in the NBA, and seeing him leave is a dream come true. 2. Shelden finally gets to go to a place where he'll fit in, and get minutes 3. We finally got a vet PG, who we can depend on in clucth situation.
I'm so happy about this trade. The Hawks get a consistent shooter, a PG who can still play and a chance to win games in the clutch. We got him for cheap, and now Law can get way more time. This trade is only a positive for the Hawks.
Hawks have a 13 man roster, they're gonna have to sign a couple of more players. Maybe Justin Williams since he just go waive, someone with size.
